NIC Engages Turkish Investors to Strengthen Liberia’s Investment Partnerships
The National Investment Commission (NIC) is participating in a lead generation mission to Istanbul, Türkiye, organized by the Financial Times with the support of the World Bank. The visit focused on engaging leading Turkish investors to explore opportunities in Liberia’s priority sectors.
Recognizing that investment is not an event but a process, the NIC is working to attract both immediate commitments and long-term partnerships. While some investors expressed readiness to expand into Liberia, others emphasized the need for detailed feasibility studies — a critical step in securing quality, sustainable investments. The NIC will collaborate with development partners to facilitate these studies, ensuring that future investments generate jobs, boost economic growth, and advance Liberia’s ARREST agenda.
