Mrs. Beatrice Musu Russell-Cooper was born on July 3, 1982 in Montserrado County, Liberia. She currently works with the National Investment Commission as Financial Comptroller with responsibility to direct the development and implementation of an effective financial management and accounting systems suitable to the Commission’s objectives and formulate financial policies to effectively guide the financial management of the National Investment Commission. 

Prior to joining the NIC team, she worked in the private sector as Treasury Supervisor with the Liberia Coca-Cola Bottling Company (LCCBC). She holds a master degree (MBA) in Finance from the Wisconsin International University College Accra, Ghana and other professional certificates including Certificate in Public Finance and Economic Development from the International Institute for Management Development, Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa; Making IPSAS Work in Liberia, AFRITAC West 2/IMF and Inclusive Growth, IMF – Africa Training Institute, Mauritius.

 Mrs. Cooper’s career objective is to utilize her experience to enhance professional capacity and contribute to institutional growth through efficient service that dovetails into national economic stability and sustainable development.
